Getting the perfect earring size can be a little tricky. You want to make sure it fits well, but you also want to make sure that you're not too loose or tight. The good news is that finding your perfect size is pretty easy!
The length of your piercing refers to the wearable length of the earring post that goes through your piercing. For flat back studs, it’s the length of the post. For cartilage hoops, this refers to the interior diameter of the ring.
If you're looking to find out your post size when purchasing flat backs, or your hoop size, there are a few ways you can try. The most accurate way is to visit your local piercer. If you're in a pinch, or just want to figure it out yourself, here is an easy way to figure out your earring size:
Flat back post: Grab a ruler and measure the post of an earring or diameter of a hoop that fits you well (not too tight and not too loose). If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up.
