International Women’s Month

Incredibly close to my heart in so many ways, International Women’s Month represents the epitome of equality. Having grown up in a culture where gender played a significant role and celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women was far from the norm, I found myself feeling powerless at times. 

Instead of accepting my fate, however, I strove for equality at every opportunity and raised my two daughters by giving them the strength and power to blossom and shine. By teaching them that, individually, we're all responsible for our thoughts and actions, I empowered them to choose how they see, experience, and share the world around them. As members of a global community, we have the power to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations, and celebrate women's achievements with open arms and open hearts.

More than simply a day, International Women’s Month represents the long journey to becoming who I was truly meant to be and celebrating the dreams that I wouldn’t let die. For these reasons and so many others, the Estella Collection is created by women, for women. 

Forever wanting to empower others and make a tangible difference in the world, I created a uniquely feminine experience with jewelry that fosters the confidence to live boldly and, most importantly, equally. Each piece in our collection is designed intentionally so that women can feel comfortable purchasing jewelry for themselves, without needing to wait for a gift. 

Ever committed to improving equality, we’re also donating 10% of our profits to commit2change, a mission-driven non-profit that helps educate, empower, and honor the history of womanhood. Rooted in the belief that girls have the ability to take control of their lives if, given the proper educational tools, this one of a kind charity empowers young girls to be the positive change they wish to see in their communities and to change to our world for the better.

We’ve come a long way to get where we are today, and we certainly won’t stop until equality is enjoyed by every woman, everywhere. At Estella, every woman has a unique voice and a unique journey. Here’s to celebrating you this International Women’s Month.
