We recommend applying your perfumes, colognes, and hairsprays before you put on gemstone jewelry to avoid the chemicals reducing your gem’s brilliance. For annual or biannual do-it-yourself cleaning, simply wash them with warm, soapy water. And always be sure to remove jewelry with gemstones before washing your hands, showering, swimming, or working out. Finally, we propose storing your precious gems in a padded box or jewelry case whenever you’re not wearing them.
